LCF Projects

The LCF receives funding for several projects.
  • Progress Towards Equality - Everyone Is Equal Project
    This EU-funded project aims to promote equality, in particular through raising practical awareness of discrimination. LCF co-ordinates this project, working in collaboration with regional and local agencies.
  • Equalities and Human Rights
    Three new funding streams have enabled the Law Centres Federation to establish a new Equality and Human Rights Project. Our funders are the Big Lottery Fund, the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the European Union (Progress 1 and 2 Projects).
  • The Governance Project
    Funded by the Big Lottery, the Governance Project is a two year project developed jointly by Law Centres Federation (London) and AdviceUK (London).
  • Working Together for Advice Project
    The Law Centres Federation is a member of consortium of legal and advice networks set up to provide a range of support services to independent advice centres in England.
  • Young People’s Project
    The Law Centres Federation with funding from the City Bridge Trust started a Young People’s Project in the autumn of 2006. Working in partnership with Youth Access, the Project’s aim is to make sure that every young person in London has access to the legal advice they need.
  • Research and Policy in London Project
    Policy Development in London Project was funded by City Parochial Foundation for two years ending at the end of September 2008.
  • Sexual Orientation, Religion or Belief and Age Employment Equality Project

    SORBAEE project - Sexual Orientation, Religion or Belief and Age Employment Equality started in February 2006 and came to a close in June 2007

  • Disability Rights Project

    LCF's Disability Rights Project was funded from December 2005 until March 2008. It was initially funded by the Disability Rights Commission who funded the LCF and 14 Law Centres until October 2007. The Equality and Human Rights Commission set up in October 2007 then took over the Project until it ended in March 2008.
