Cumbria Law Centre has secured over half a million Pounds to lead local advice services in collaborating and improving the help they provide. The funding, awarded by the Cabinet Office through the Big Lottery Fund, is a vital shot in the arm for services across the sprawling county of Cumbria.

The Law Centre, which has offices in Carlisle, Allerdale and Copeland, has spoken of its joy at the new funding and the plans for expanding services, especially for hard-to-reach communities or people with mobility problems who are housebound and far from an advice centre.
