Policy work at the LCF
In recent years, the LCF has focused on policy issues arising from changes to the provision of legal services, to ensure that the interests of clients are being met and that legislation encompasses an holistic service, combining work in the community with legal casework services.

The Law Centres Federation promotes the Law Centre model as being the best for finding lasting solutions to people’s problems. - Policy Responses
The Law Centres Federation responds to consultation papers produced by Government Departments on changes to the way legal advice and representation services are supplied and funded. - Working with Government
The Law Centres Federation campaigns for a national network of Law Centres. It works closely with the Ministry of Justice (formerly the Department for Constitutional Affairs DCA) and the Legal Services Commission (LSC) on the future of legal services. - Working with Law Centres
The Law Centres Federation is the national voice for Law Centres and represents the interests of Law Centres and their clients.
