All Citizens Advice Bureaux in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are members of Citizens Advice, the national charity which sets standards for advice and equal opportunities and supports bureaux with an information system, training and other services. The CRE was a publicly funded, independent organisation existing to tackle racial discrimination and promote racial equality. CRE's work has now been taken over by EHRC on 1st October 2007 and is now closed. - Commission for Vulnerable Workers (CoVE)

Community Legal Advice (previously known as CLS Direct) is a free and confidential advice service paid for by legal aid. If you live on a low income or benefits, call for advice about debt, education, benefits and tax credits, employment and housing problems. You can call them on on 0845 345 4 345 from 9.00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Community Legal Advice allows you to find a high quality local legal adviser or solicitor, see if you qualify for legal aid using the Eligibility Calculator, ask a question or choose a topic and link to the right place on the best advice sites in the UK, and read and print legal information leaflets.
