Established in 1978, the Law Centres Federation is a charity and a company limited by guarantee. The LCF supports and promotes Law Centres® in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. .

The name ‘Law Centre’ is a registered trademark, which means that only full members of the Law Centres Federation can use that name.
