About the LCF

Established in 1978, the LCF is a charity and a company limited by guarantee. The LCF supports and promotes Law Centres in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is a full member of the Advice Services Alliance.

The name ‘Law Centre’ is a registered trademark, which means that only full members of the Law Centres Federation can use that name.

The Government’s plans to reform legal aid threatens access to justice and the future of Law Centre services. This will leave many vulnerable people unable to get help with legal problems. Join our campaign by emailing your MP to protest against these changes.
